He has successfully passed the American Board of Dermatology's 2023 Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (MDS) Subspecialty Certification Examination, solidifying his expertise and dedication to advancing the field of Mohs Micrographic Surgery.  

The MDS subspecialty, established in October 2018 by the American Board of Dermatology, represents the pinnacle of proficiency in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Blattner's achievement signifies a commitment to the highest standards of patient care, continuous learning, and excellence in dermatologic surgery.

For those unfamiliar with the MDS board certification process, it involves meeting specific criteria, including holding a valid license, primary certification in general dermatology, being up-to-date in Maintenance of Certification (MOC), and demonstrating experience in the subspecialty, among other requirements. Dr. Blattner has excelled in these criteria, showcasing his expertise and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
