Clear Choice Dermatology Welcomes John P. Scopetta, MD to the Team

Clear Choice Dermatology is pleased to announce the addition of John P. Scopetta, MD, a board-certified Dermatopathologist and Pathologist with over 14 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Scopetta will be serving patients at our Lake Oswego, Longview, and Salem locations, diagnosing and treating a wide array of skin, hair, and nail conditions.  

Dr. Scopetta’s background and specialized training in dermatopathology provide him with a unique advantage in diagnosing complex skin conditions. His approach focuses on using his deep knowledge to accurately identify conditions and develop effective, personalized treatment plans for his patients.

Dr. Scopetta earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his residencies in Internal Medicine and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Tulane University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He furthered his specialization with a Dermatopathology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
