Dr. Cory Maughan is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, before pursuing his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University – AZCOM in Glendale, Arizona. His postgraduate training included a surgical internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon, followed by a clinical research fellowship at Silver Falls Dermatology in Salem, Oregon.
Dr. Maughan completed his dermatology residency with Samaritan Health Services in Salem, Oregon, where he also pursued advanced training through a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology in partnership with Silver Falls Dermatology.
As a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Dr. Maughan has contributed extensively to dermatologic research and education, with numerous publications in prestigious dermatology journals and textbook chapters.
When not at work, Dr. Maughan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children. He is an avid alpine skier, mountain biker, and outdoor enthusiast.
