Dr. David Greene has 19 years of combined clinical experience as a physician.  After earning his MD in 2004 from the nation’s military medical school, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, he completed his internship at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.  He then entered training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, where he was designated a Naval Flight Surgeon.  He completed two seven-month combat deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.  He was subsequently selected for additional training at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute and Naval Dive and Salvage Training Center, where he became qualified as a Diving and Undersea Medical Officer.  He was then assigned to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One, where he directed medical support of Naval Special Warfare and Submarine Operations and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.  He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at UC Davis Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.  He received additional subspecialty training in brachytherapy in 2013 through the American Brachytherapy Society Scholarship Award.  He was awarded the California State Medal of Merit in 2016 for his service as special advisor for radiation safety and radiation disaster response to the Commanding General of the California State Military Reserve.

Dr. Greene believes that every patient deserves to understand their diagnosis as well as their treatment options and to have individually-tailored care for the treatment and cure of their skin cancer(s).  His areas of practice and expertise include the treatment of many different types of cancers (including skin cancer) utilizing a variety of state-of-the-art radiation technologies, including surface electronic brachytherapy.
