Melissa Rhyasen brings 11 years of clinical experience to Clear Choice Dermatology. Melissa studied biology at Brigham Young University. After working as a Medical Assistant in Family Medicine and Pediatrics, she earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health & Science University where she completed a 5 week clinical rotation in dermatology.  

Melissa has lived in the Pacific Northwest for the past 15 years.  Growing up in small town Idaho, Melissa understands the need for providing valuable care to underserved areas. She enjoys serving patients from all backgrounds and prides herself in providing a comfortable and calming atmosphere for each of her patients.  Melissa has had a passion for all areas of dermatology since early in her training as a Physician Assistant. She enjoyed several years of experience in cosmetic dermatology at a busy aesthetics clinic early in her career and has loved helping patients achieve healthy and clear skin.  

When Melissa is not at work, she and her husband are busy caring for four children. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and travel.
