Omer R. Ozerdem, M.D., is a highly esteemed plastic surgeon celebrated for his compassionate care and outstanding expertise. Dr. Ozerdem earned his medical degree from Ege University in Turkey in 1991 and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cukurova University in 1998. He then pursued a research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh from 1998 to 2000, followed by advanced training in craniofacial surgery at the University of Miami and Miami Children's Hospital in 2003, where he worked closely with the renowned Prof. Dr. S. Anthony Wolfe.
From 2000 to 2002 and again from 2003 to 2005, Dr. Ozerdem served first as an assistant and later as an associate professor at Baskent University, thereby enhancing both his academic and clinical expertise. In 2005, he was accepted into the Aesthetic Surgery Subspecialty Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he trained under the esteemed Prof. Dr. Luis Vasconez. Throughout this period, he maintained his private practice in Istanbul and Antalya, Turkey, while also holding academic positions at affiliated hospitals. By 2008, he was appointed a Professor at Uskudar University in Istanbul.
