About Dr. Blattner

Dr. Collin M. Blattner is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgery specialist with a passion for surgical, pediatric, and medical dermatology. His clinical interests include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, with a particular focus on skin cancer surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Dr. Blattner earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Arizona State University and his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon, followed by dermatology residency and fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Silver Falls Dermatology. He has also had the privilege of receiving mentorship from renowned dermatologists, including Dirk Elston, MD, former president of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Blattner has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical and dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, International Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, Cutis, Dermatology Online Journal, Pediatric Allergy & Immunology, and Clinical Pediatrics. He has also contributed six chapters to dermatology textbooks and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Committed to advancing dermatologic education, Dr. Blattner is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, and Medical Dermatology Society. He also serves as Dermatology Faculty for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and contributes to the dermatology curriculum at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with leading experts in dermatology, further strengthening his approach to patient care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Blattner enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
