About Dr. Greene

Dr. David Greene is a board-certified radiation oncologist with Clear Choice Dermatology, bringing advanced radiation-based treatment options, including surface electronic brachytherapy, to patients with skin cancer throughout the Pacific Northwest. With 19 years of clinical experience, his career has encompassed military medicine, aerospace and undersea medicine, and radiation oncology, giving him a unique and highly specialized perspective on patient care.

Dr. Greene earned his MD in 2004 from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the nation’s military medical school, and began his medical career with an internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He then pursued specialized training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, where he became a Naval Flight Surgeon. During this time, he completed two seven-month combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his service.

Building on his experience in military medicine, Dr. Greene went on to complete advanced training at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute and Naval Dive and Salvage Training Center, becoming qualified as a Diving and Undersea Medical Officer. He subsequently served with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One, where he directed medical support for Naval Special Warfare and submarine operations and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.

Dr. Greene later transitioned to radiation oncology, completing his residency at UC Davis Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He further specialized his expertise with advanced training in brachytherapy through the American Brachytherapy Society Scholarship Award in 2013. His commitment to radiation safety and public service was recognized in 2016 when he received the California State Medal of Merit for serving as special advisor for radiation safety and radiation disaster response to the Commanding General of the California State Military Reserve.

Today, Dr. Greene is focused on providing thoughtful, individualized cancer care. He believes patients should understand their diagnosis and treatment options and play an active role in decisions about their care. Through his expertise in radiation oncology and advanced treatment technologies, he is committed to delivering effective, personalized treatment for patients with skin cancer.
