About Emily

Emily Mower, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Clear Choice Dermatology, providing comprehensive dermatologic care at the Hillsboro, Oregon location. A Hillsboro native, Emily brings a strong clinical background in family medicine, specialized dermatology training, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She is fluent in Spanish and provides bilingual care to Spanish-speaking patients.

Emily earned her undergraduate degree in Public Health from Oregon State University. Following graduation, she spent two years teaching English at a public school in southern Spain, an experience that broadened her cultural perspective and led to her fluency in Spanish. She subsequently earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.

Emily began her clinical career in family medicine, gaining more than two and a half years of experience caring for patients across a broad range of medical conditions. She then pursued specialized training in dermatology alongside a board-certified dermatologist, developing expertise in medical dermatology and comprehensive skin care. She is dedicated to providing thorough, evidence-based care while taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and develop individualized treatment plans.

As a member of the Hillsboro community, Emily is particularly passionate about making high-quality dermatologic care accessible to local patients and families. Outside of medicine, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
