About Dr. Tang
Nikki Tang, MD, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with Clear Choice Dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Brown University before continuing at Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School through the Program in Liberal Medical Education, an eight-year combined undergraduate and medical degree program.
Dr. Tang completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, where she received specialized training in caring for patients with skin of color. She then completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction at Mount Sinai, developing advanced expertise in complex wound reconstruction, rare tumor pathology, and tumors in challenging anatomical locations. Following her fellowship, she was invited to become a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Tang went on to join the faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she served as Director of the Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Unit and Assistant Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Program. In these roles, she combined clinical expertise with a passion for education, mentoring and training the next generation of dermatologists.
Known for her thoughtful and compassionate approach, Dr. Tang combines academic rigor with refined surgical skill to provide precise, evidence-based skin cancer care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, exploring the latest sun-protective gear, practicing yoga, skiing, freediving, spearfishing, and spending time outdoors.
