About Sidney

Sidney Thompson, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Clear Choice Dermatology, seeing patients at the Salem office. Originally from Western Montana, Sidney developed an early appreciation for the outdoors, wellness, and community, values that continue to shape her approach to patient care. She is passionate about dermatology and is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care while building lasting relationships with her patients.

Sidney earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with a minor in Psychology and ASBMB certification, from the University of Montana, graduating magna cum laude. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, where she graduated at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA.

Dedicated to advancing her expertise in dermatology, Sidney is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and is currently completing the SDPA Dermatology Diplomate Fellowship. This additional training reflects her commitment to evidence-based dermatologic care and continued professional development. Her experience in emergency services also contributes to her calm, thorough approach to evaluating and treating a wide range of skin conditions.

Sidney values the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives, both physically and emotionally. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients at Salem can feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their care.

Outside of the clinic, Sidney enjoys exploring the outdoors, discovering new hiking trails with her dog, traveling, trying new restaurants, and attending live music events.
